Conservation Funding

• Purpose: To engage Coalition participants in advocating to secure federal, state, and local funding for coastal land conservation , per strategy 3.5.
• History: This workgroup launched in June 2005, chaired by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Gulf of Maine Program. MCHT's Communications Director, Richard Knox, and Cross Current Productions's Melissa Paly. This workgroup is focused on developing a workplan by this December for presentation to the MCPI Steering Committee.
