Strategic Conservation Planning

  • Purpose: Efforts center on identifying and promoting tools for proactive local and regional conservation plans, per strategy 1.4.
  • History: This workgroup held its first informal meeting in August with the purpose of starting a discussion about how to turn the tide from reactive to proactive conservation in coastal Maine. It is expected that this group will grow and become more active as the MCPI strategic conservation tools and data are completed.
